TH-2 dehydrogenation catalyst

The TH-2 dehydrogenation catalyst is made by impregnating Pt and Pd metal salts and special promoters and stabilizers onto an active alumina support, followed by drying, calcination, and reduction. It can be used for the dehydrogenation of various feed gases and can prevent explosions caused by excessive hydrogen content in high-pressure synthesis tail gas.
