TR-2 de-hydrocarbonating catalyst

Category:Precious metal catalyst series

The TR-2 dehydrocarbonation catalyst is made by impregnating Pt and Pd metal salts onto an active alumina support, adding special promoters and stabilizers, and then drying, calcining, and reducing. It can be used for the gas-phase removal of low-molecular-weight combustible components, namely the removal of low-molecular-weight alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, alcohols, aldehydes, and ketones, and is particularly suitable for the removal of trace hydrocarbons from food-grade CO2 gas.

I. Main Features and Applications

TR-2 dehydrocarbonation catalyst is made by impregnating Pt and Pd metal salts on an activated alumina support, adding special promoters and stabilizers, and then drying, roasting, and reducing. It can be used for the removal of low-molecular-weight combustible components in the gas phase, namely the removal of low-molecular-weight alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, alcohols, aldehydes, and ketones, and is particularly suitable for the removal of trace hydrocarbons in food-grade CO2 gas.
